What Warranty Do You Get With A Free Boiler ?

All boilers that are fitted as part of the Coventry Free Boiler Scheme come with a 2 Year Parts & Labour Warranty.

For a small fee you can pay to extend your warranty to 5 or even 10 years.

What Make Of Boilers Are Fitted On The Scheme?

The boilers fitted on the scheme are usually Worcester Bosch Or Ideals.

Both boilers have been found to be the most reliable boilers and are approved by the Government.

Does The Boiler Have To Be Faulty To Qualify For The Grant?

Boilers do not necesarily have to be faulty to qualify for the free grant.

The boiler has to be below 85% efficiency which most non condensing boilers over 20 years old are.

What Is The Cost Of Boiler Replacement?

The average cost of a new boiler replacement with a small local gas engineer will typically fall between £1800 – £3000 .

This assumes a straight swap with no other work needed.

If you choose to go with a large company such as British Gas EDF etc, you can expect to pay from £3000 – £5500 again assuming a straight swap.

What Is A Qualifying Boiler For The Boiler Grant Scheme?

A qualifying boiler is any one of below:

✅ Your Boiler Is Non Condensing ( Boiler Fitted Before 2005 )

✅ You Have A Back Boiler Behind The Fire

✅ You Have An Oil Boiler ( Non Condensing) Upgrade To Heat Pump Only.

How Long Does The Process Take?

All being well, you should be contacted within 48 hours of applying and booked in for a survey.

The install usually takes place within 21 days of us receiving your application.
